Systems and methods are provided for controlling a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method of a job site mapping method includes receiving sensor data related to an environment associated with a vehicle, determining that a roadway disturbing object exists within the environment based on the sensor data, and generating a composite map having a representation of lane-disturbing object superimposed on a defined map of the environment.
