The retrofitting of a return spring to a trolley jack to automatically return the operating handle/lever to its upper most position. The spring is placed over the jacks actuator that is attached the handle/lever of the jack, so that it is positioned between the body of the jack and the handle of the jack, biasing the handle to its upper most position. When the handle is depressed the spring compresses, and forces the handle to its uppermost position once the downward pressure on the handle has been released. The spring enables the use to operate the jack with their foot.
