An electromechanical actuator ("EMA") (100) comprising an actuator drive unit ("ADU") housing (106) and a ball screw (102) is disclosed. The ball screw (102) and ADU housing (106) may interface to form a multi-row thrust bearing (MRTB) (310). Further, the ball screw (102) may be situated at least partially about the ADU housing (106), an outer surface (302) of the ADU housing (106) may include a first ADU raceway (304), and an inner surface (306) of the ball screw (102) may include a second inner ball screw raceway (308). Either or both raceways (304,308) may comprise hemispherical structures. Further, the first raceway (304) and the second raceway (308) may interface to form a multi-row thrust bearing ("MRTB") (310).
