The present invention relates to a device for signaling triggering of an electrical protection device. The device comprises a circuit breaker housed in an insulating housing surrounding a fixed contact and a movable contact, and a movable contact being adapted to be manually actuated by a rod mechanically connected to a device holding the movable contact, or automatically actuated by a release mechanism. The release mechanism comprises a heat releaser and a magnetic releaser having a moveable core, the movable contact is mounted for rotation between the contact open position and the contact closing position and is connected by a transmission member to the rod in order to form a breakable mechanical connection, the activation of one of the releasers causes the mechanical connection to open and the contact to separate, a first indicating means is adapted only to trigger upon a short-circuit fault. The so-called first indicator device S comprises means for fixing the rod in an intermediate position in the event of a failure of the magnetic source, between two positions of the rod corresponding to the open and closed positions of the contacts, respectively controlled by the movable core of the magnetic releaser.
