JOINT AS CONNECTION PART BETWEEN THE FRONT OF EYEGLASSES AND THE TEMPLES THEREOF

The invention relates to a joint as a connection part between the front of eyeglasses and the temples thereof, consisting of a front joint part which is arranged on the front of the eyeglasses and a rear joint part which is arranged on the front end of the temples. The rear joint part is equipped with a spring-loaded ball head anchor with a ball head which sits in a ball head bearing of the front joint part in a movable manner, said bearing having a slot-shaped recess which at least partly passes through the front joint part and the ball head bearing on the bearing end facing the temple. The recess is open both in the direction of the plane of symmetry of the eyeglasses as well as in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the front joint part towards the temple in order to allow the temple to fold open and close.
