The present invention concerns an actuator (1),with a drive element, a gear (G) and a control element (10) with a stop connection (AN). The drive element is designed to drive the control element around a control axis (A) and is mechanically connected to the control element by the transmission. The actuator has a spring attached to the actuator (2, 2');which is mechanically linked to the actuator for providing a mechanical actuator (M) to that effect. The control element shall comprise a wave section centred on the control axis and at least partially circulating in tangential circumference direction (3). The spare spring includes a belt spring, preferably a constant force spring, which is designed as a belt roll. A free spring (E) of the belt spring is attached tangentially to the shaft section. In particular, the free spring is mounted on a hinge mounted on the radial outside of the shaft section (4),which can be rotated around a pivoting axis parallel to the control axis. This makes it advantageous to reverse the direction of action of the torque.
