Retrospective image preservation for ultrasound diagnosis

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system, and a computer program product for retrospective image clip storage of an ultrasonic image of the present invention. SOLUTION: Ultrasonic image clips having different views of one view to be diagnosed are repeatedly acquired through an ultrasonic imaging probe 120 of an ultrasonic imaging system. Each of the acquired different ultrasonic image clips is stored in the buffer of the ultrasonic imaging system 110, and a value is assigned to each of the image clips according to the measured characteristics of each image clip. Next, the optimum clip storage mode of the ultrasonic imaging system is activated. In response to activation, each of the obtained different ultrasound image clips stored in the buffer is compared based on their respective measured characteristics, and at least one clip whose measured characteristics show the optimum value is identified and identified.
