SUPPORT, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ARRAY SYNTHESIS AND BIOMOLECULAR ANALYSIS

To provide a high throughput technology for analyzing the vast number of polypeptides encoded by organism's genome.SOLUTION: An array is prepared using a photoactive coupling formulation, a carboxylic acid activating compound and a carboxylic acid group-containing support. Further, the support and array contain a porous layer for synthesizing and attaching polymer or biomolecule. A method for preparing and using an array containing a photoactive coupling formulation, a carboxylic acid group-containing support and a porous array is disclosed. A formulation and method for one-step coupling, e.g. a formulation and method for synthesizing peptide in N → C direction, is also disclosed.
