To provide a knowledge information service system for generating knowledge information on a device, generating an answers to queries about the device and associated data based on the knowledge information, and providing the associated data to the device.SOLUTION: A knowledge information service system 1 is provided, comprising: a knowledge generation server 13 configured to collect one or more sets of data chosen from existing data including at least manuals and processing know-hows, measurement data obtained from operation of devices via edge servers 11 communicably connected to the devices, and operating data of the devices 12, 22 from within a knowledge generation system and an operating service system 20, and generate knowledge information based on the one or more sets of collected data; and a knowledge management manager 14 configured to generate answers to inquiries about the devices and associated data based on the knowledge information, and provide the associated data to the devices 12, 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
