【Task】 Exhibits antibacterial properties against bacterial infections in the late postoperative period. SOLUTION: Silver ions are incorporated into β-TCP to form a solid solution in the crystal lattice, which is contained in the biodegradable fiber of the bone regeneration material. After the bone regeneration material is implanted in the body, as the biodegradable fibers that make up the bone regeneration material are absorbed and decomposed, the β-TCP contained in the fibers comes into contact with the body fluid and slowly dissolves and absorbs.
