To provide a method for repairing a rotor of a multi-stage axial compressor of a gas turbine by replacing a damaged blade disc of the last stage with new disc, which is little burdensome.SOLUTION: The method for repairing a rotor of a multi-stage axial compressor of a gas turbine is provided, wherein an old bladed disc to be replaced is mounted by interference fit on a shaft of the rotor which is rotatable about a rotating shaft, the method comprises the steps of: cutting a shaft at a cross section plane vertical to a rotating axis x of the shaft so as to separate a portion of the shaft from a remaining portion 12' of the shaft; providing corresponding new blade discs 14"having hubs 16" having solid cross sections in place of the blade discs; providing a new end portion 12" of the shaft having a hollow solid cross section; and clamping the new bladed disc between the remaining portion of the shaft and the new end portion of the shaft, and securing the new bladed disc to the remaining portion of the shaft by anchor bolts 28, 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
