PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pathway forming mechanism capable of efficiently permeating a cosmetic ingredient of cosmetics into the skin, and a beauty device including the same. A beauty device includes a pathway forming mechanism 100. The pathway forming mechanism 100 includes a first electrode 110 and a second electrode 120 that form an electric field inside the skin so as to form a pathway through which cosmetic ingredients of cosmetics permeate. The first electrode 110 is an electrode to which a higher potential is applied than the second electrode 120. The first electrode 110 and the second electrode 120 are comb-tooth electrodes, and the teeth 112 of the first electrode 110 and the teeth 122 of the second electrode 120 are arranged so as to be alternately arranged in the first direction. The number of teeth 112 of the first electrode 110 is larger than the number of teeth 122 of the second electrode 120.
