To provide an air-conditioning system and an air-conditioning method in a vertical hydroponics greenhouse which can prevent rise of nutritious liquid temperature in the vertical hydroponics greenhouse during a summer season, and can obtain heating or cooling effect without affecting the humidity inside the vertical hydroponics greenhouse.SOLUTION: A plurality of vertical hydroponics cylinders 4 are included in a greenhouse 1 of a semi-closed type which is covered by a material allowing sunlight to pass such as vinyl, plastic and glass, the plurality of vertical hydroponics cylinders 4 are hung on a steel pipe for hanging 3 arranged on a frame 2, a nutritious liquid tube 8 which supplies nutritious liquid 10 from a liquid feeding pump 9 to culture medium 5 in each vertical hydroponics cylinder 4 is disposed along the pipe for hanging 3, and hot water or cold water is supplied into the pipe for hanging 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
