To provide a deceased person's photo cinerary urn in which a risk of falling/peeling of a deceased person's photo display part is reduced without the fading of the deceased person's photo display part in the long-term installation.SOLUTION: A cinerary urn made of pottery comprises a cylindrical or prismatic urn body for putting cremains, a lid for covering the upper opening of the urn body, and a deceased person's photo ceramic plate formed by deeply impressing the deceased person's photo adhesively bonded in a predetermined position of an outside surface of the urn body on the ceramic plate. The urn body is provided with a deceased person's photo bonding recess formed on the outside surface of the urn body while being recessed more than the urn body outside surface, and adhesively bonded with the deceased person's photo ceramic plate. The deceased person's photo ceramic plate has substantially equal thickness with the recessed depth of the deceased person's photo bonding recess. The outside surface of the urn body is formed so as to become substantially flush with the surface of the deceased person's photo ceramic plate adhesively bonded on the deceased person's photo bonding recess.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
