PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF tag which can be detected from the ground even in a relatively deep place in the ground. SOLUTION: An RF tag for a buried object attached to a buried object has a power receiving coil 20, a transmitting antenna 18, a power storage device, and a control circuit. The power receiving coil 20 receives driving energy and control signals of 100 kHz to 500 kHz by an electromagnetic induction method. The transmitting antenna 18 transmits a response signal of 100 MHz to 1 GHz by a radio wave method. The power storage device is electrically connected to the power receiving coil 20 and stores driving energy. The control circuit is electrically connected to the power receiving coil 20, the transmitting antenna 18, and the power storage device, and transmits a response signal from the transmitting antenna 18 based on the control signal by using the electric power supplied from the power storage device.
