To provide a method for adjusting the grain size of the aggregate for concrete that can obtain good fresh properties without generating a valley of the particle size distribution, even though using coarse and fine aggregates specified in JIS.SOLUTION: A method for adjusting the grain size of the aggregate for concrete includes the steps of: preparing a combination of fine and coarse mixed aggregates containing less than 10 wt.% of aggregates with 2.5-5 mm grain size which are obtained by mixing fine aggregates and coarse aggregates whose aggregate grain size range is specified in JIS A 5005 "Crushed stone and crushed sand for concrete"; preparing adjusted aggregates containing more than 80 wt.% of aggregates with 2.5-5 mm grain size; mixing the fine and coarse mixed aggregates and the adjusted aggregates so as to adjust the content of aggregates with 2.5-5 mm grain size to be 10 wt.% or more and 20 wt.% or less with respect to the total aggregate weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
