PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting engineering a high quality composite molded article by predicting deformation state of an insert component in a mold with using a clearance condition of the mold and the insert component for phenomenon of deformation of the insert component by resin pressure during insert molding, a method for manufacturing the composite molded article, a computer software and a recording medium.SOLUTION: There are provided an engineering support device of a composite molded article having means for preparing a model for numerical calculation of a resin part and an insert component, means for setting input condition for flow analysis, means for setting a clearance condition of the insert component and the mold, means for conducting resin flow analysis and calculating pressure distribution of the resin part, means for calculating deformation of the insert component from pressure results of the resin part and means for conducting a contact judgement treatment between the insert component and a mold surface, a method for manufacturing the composite molded article, a computer software and a recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
