To provide a sanitary outer cap with smooth wearing on a head, safe and aesthetic, with an eave that does not deform during washing or heat drying to remove dirt after use, allowing no wrinkles to generate on a cloth covering a core of the eave.SOLUTION: There is provided a sanitary outer cap with an eave that covers face, head and shoulders. A stretch cloth is provided around an entire face opening, and an eave is provided between an upper end portion of the stretch cloth and a circumference of the adjacent head. A core material of the eave has a melting point of 200°C or higher and a softness of 15 cm to 60 cm. A tensile elongation in a bias direction of a fabric covering the core material is 20% or more, and the eave is curved in a lower surface direction when being worn. A biaxially stretched polyester film having a thickness of 0.15 to 0.45 mm is used as the core material of the eave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
