PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a temporary cut-off structure used for pier repair / reinforcement work, which can efficiently construct a temporary cut-off structure on a water area. SOLUTION: After a lower temporary cut-off structure 2a is installed in a water area, a work scaffold 4 is lowered to an upper position of a lower temporary cut-off structure 2a installed in the water area, and the lowered work scaffolding 4a is used.
