To detect deterioration of a machine before failure occurs, in providing factory robot maintenance which is essential for inhibiting robot failure.SOLUTION: One embodiment provides a system for detecting failure inside a machine. During operation, the system acquires a dynamic signal related to the machine, applies one or more signal processing techniques to the dynamic signal and acquires information on cycles, an amplitude and/or a time frequency related to the dynamic signal, and extracts motion non-sensitive features from the acquired information on the cycles, the amplitude and/or the time frequency related to the dynamic signal, in order to determine whether or not failure occurs inside the machine, on the basis of the extracted features.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
