PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a reinforcing structure of a sabo dam, which can improve wear resistance and impact resistance of the top surface of the sabo dam and can cope with unmanned construction. SOLUTION: A reinforcing structure 3 has a first steel member 61 installed on a top surface 37 of a sabo dam 5 and a first elastic body surrounding a side surface of the first steel member 61, which constitutes a weir-like body. It includes members 51a and 51b. Further, the concrete 91 installed on the top end surface 37 and the protective member 8 installed on the concrete 91 are provided. The protective member 8 is composed of a second steel member 15 made of an L-shaped member and a second elastic member 52 fixed on the second steel member 15. Then, the protective member 8 is installed on the first steel member 61 and the concrete 91 before hardening by lowering the protective member 8 from the position indicated by the alternate long and short dash line. Therefore, the protective member 8 can be installed in a helicopter or the like, the safety and reliability of the construction of the reinforcing structure 3 are improved, and the construction method is suitable for unmanned construction.
