PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemble property of a ring gear with a simple structure, and suppress reduction in quality.;SOLUTION: A speed reducer for fishing electric reel comprises: a sun gear 11 provided on a motor rotary shaft 41; a plurality of planetary gears 12 which engage with the sun gear 11 and are rotatably supported; a ring gear 13 which is coaxially provided with the sun gear 11, and moves the plurality of planetary gears 12 so as to go round along an inner periphery gear 131; a barrier plate 46 which rotatably supports a carrier 6 or the motor rotary shaft 41 and engaged with the ring gear 13 so as not to freely rotate; and a case cylinder 45 provided on the barrier plate 46. The ring gear 13 is stored so as not to rotate on an inner peripheral side closer to the sun gear 11 side than to the barrier plate 46 on the case cylinder 45, the ring gear 13 has a detent recess 132 on an outer peripheral edge facing the barrier plate 46, and the barrier plate 46 has a detent salient 461 engaging with the detent recess 132.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
