To prevent a rotational force of a press roller from being directly applied to a barrel, when the press roller is brought into pressure contact with a percussion surface of a head.SOLUTION: In a tableting pestle 1, a molding part 3 having a tableting surface 4 is provided on the leading end side of its approximately cylindrical barrel part 2, and a head 5 having a percussion surface 6 is provided on the base end side of the barrel part 2. The head 5 is constituted separately from the barrel part 2. For example, a base end surface 2a of the barrel part 2 is provided with a fitting recess 7. A barrel part side surface 5a of the head 5 is provided with a fitting protrusion 8 for being fitted into the fitting recess 7. The head 5 is attached to the barrel part 2 so as to be rotatable in its outer peripheral direction in such a manner that the fitting protrusion 8 serves as a central axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
