To provide a sensor which can be used for analyzing an oral cavity flora and can specifically and easily detect oral cavity bacteria.SOLUTION: A nucleic acid sensor comprises a nucleic acid molecule in which a block sequence Bof a nucleic acid sequence C and a nucleic acid sequence D and a block sequence Bof the nucleic acid sequence D and the nucleic acid sequence C are coupled in this order. The nucleic acid sequence C is a nucleic acid sequence which anneals to a target nucleic acid in a sequence dependent manner, the block sequence Bis a nucleic acid sequence which anneals to a partial region of the nucleic acid sequence C in a sequence dependent manner, the nucleic acid sequence D is a nucleic acid sequence which causes a catalytic function, and the block sequence Bis a nucleic acid sequence which anneals to a partial region of the nucleic acid sequence D in a sequence dependent manner. Under existence of the target nucleic acid, the target nucleic acid couples to the nucleic acid sequence C in the nucleic acid molecule, the nucleic acid sequence C and the block sequence Bare separated, and the nucleic acid sequence D and the block sequence Bare separated, and thereby a catalytic function of the nucleic acid sequence D becomes in an on state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
