To provide: a polypeptide that can be used for specific detection of human peripheral ChAT; an antibody binding to the polypeptide; and a reagent for detecting a human peripheral cholinergic nerve and a drug for diagnosing a disease in which a human peripheral cholinergic nerve is impaired, which contain the antibody.SOLUTION: The invention provides: a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence with 20 or less residues including on the C terminus side an amino acid sequence represented by one of sequence numbers 1-4; an antibody binding to the polypeptide; a reagent containing the antibody for detecting a human peripheral cholinergic nerve; and a drug containing the antibody for diagnosing a disease in which a human peripheral cholinergic nerve is impaired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
