Provided is a method for screening candidate substance having FOXK1 inhibitory action, comprising: obtaining the measured value that reflects the expression of CCL2, and/or FBXO32 in a cell contacted with the test substance; and if the measured value is lower than the measured value that reflects the expression of CCL2 and/or FBXO32 when the test substance is not contacted, determining that the test substance is a candidate substance having FOXK1 inhibitory action.SELECTED DRAWING: None
