To achieve a safe and reliable direct-current voltage test in which an accident such as destruction or failure of a device to be tested and a test device is prevented.SOLUTION: A direct-current voltage tester comprises: a variable direct-current power source which applies a direct-current voltage to an electrical product as an object to be tested, the voltage being raised with time; a voltmeter which is connected in parallel to the variable direct-current power source; and a controller which regularly reads a voltage value measured by the voltmeter, determines a voltage rise rate, and controls the variable direct-current power source on the basis of the voltage rise rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
