To provide a glucose measurement system which functions as a self blood sugar measurement unit and a continuous glucose measurement unit, the control part of the glucose measurement system being communized and consumable parts of the glucose measurement system being minimized.SOLUTION: A glucose measurement module 50 is removably connected to one of a self blood sugar measurement unit 11 and a continuous glucose measurement unit 21 and controls the unit to which the glucose measurement module is connected. The glucose measurement module includes: a connection determination unit 75 for determining which unit is connected to the module; and a control unit 70 for controlling the unit which was determined to be in connection to the continuous glucose measurement unit 20 by the connection determination unit 75.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
