PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female terminal or the like capable of securing a sufficient contact load of a spring with a tab of a male terminal even in use for an electric connection with the male terminal of which the dimension of the tab is small, and easily confirming an arrangement (contact) state of an elastic contact piece within a connection part in the case of quality inspection.SOLUTION: A female terminal 1 comprises: a connection part 10 including a bottom wall 12, a pair of sidewalls 14a and 14b and a top wall 16; and an elastic contact piece 20 including a crimp part 40 and an intermediate coupling part 70 and extending from the side of a distal end 10a of the connection part 10 along an inner surface of the top wall 16 in a length direction L. In the elastic contact piece 20, one end 22 is a coupling end to be coupled to a distal end side of the top wall 16, and another end 24 is a free end configured to maintain a contact state with the inner surface of the top wall 16. The connection part 10 further includes a window hole 26 through which the contact state of at least the free end 24 of the elastic contact piece 20 is visible from the outside of the connection part 10, at a boundary position between the top wall 16 and at least one sidewall 14a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
