PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an interference color ornament body capable of achieving easily interference color pattern having a desired shape or hue change.SOLUTION: A production method of an interference color ornament body includes steps for: preparing a substrate 10 having a main surface 10a as a reflection surface; and depositing a transparent thin film 20 comprising a single layer on the main surface 10a of the substrate 10 in a non-uniform thickness distribution containing a different thickness part by magnetron sputtering using a magnetron sputtering device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
