To properly perform in-service on a rotary electric machine with a simplified configuration.SOLUTION: A rotating electric machine in-service support system 300 includes a rotating electric machine main body 110 having a rotor and a stator, a rotating electric machine 100 including an information storage medium 120 that stores rotating electric machine information on the rotating electric machine body 110, and a drive device 200 capable of driving the rotating electric machine main body 110. The drive device 200 includes a rotary electric machine information reading device 210 that reads the rotary electric machine information stored in the information storage medium 120 of the rotary electric machine 100 via a communication medium 130, a control device 230 that controls the rotating electric machine body 110, a control constant setting unit 220 that sets a control constant used in the control device 230 on the basis of the rotating electrical machine information, and an inverter device 250 that supplies AC power to rotating electric machine main body 110 in response to a command from control device 230.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
