The embodiments described herein include systems and methods for self-learning in growth pods. One embodiment is a cart that stores plants for growth and a trajectory that accepts the cart, that allows the cart to traverse an assembly line growth pod along a predetermined path, orbits and nutrients to the plant. Includes environmental effectors to provide. Some embodiments include sensors for monitoring plant production and computing devices. The computing device may store the logic of having the assembly line growth pod receive growth data from a sensor to determine plant production and compare plant production to expected plant production. In some embodiments, the logic causes the assembly line growth pod to determine a modification of the growth recipe to improve plant yield and to modify the growth recipe to improve plant yield.
