The aerial vehicle (AV) includes a main body (10) and a plurality of lift generating means (61A, B, 62A, B). Each lift generating means is supported and connected to the main body (10) via its respective arm assembly (20A, B). The arm assembly is movable between the retracted position and the extended lock and release position. The arm assemblies (20A, B) are arranged in pairs, and each arm assembly pair is interconnected via a central spindle (30) rotatably attached to the body (10).
