PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method which can test a plurality of inputs in one test case, can detect input to an untested rule, and perform thorough test of the rule for a practical time.SOLUTION: A rule test device determines whether or not a result of all input satisfying an input condition of a logic test case satisfies an expectation output condition by determining satisfiability of a failure case generation formula that satisfies an input condition of the logic test case of input/output of a rule set and does not satisfy the expectation output condition of the logic test case according to the logic test case including an input condition part which stores a condition of input value targeted by a test described by one or more rule sets and logical formulas that collect rules that include a condition part storing a condition for the rule to be satisfied and a result part storing a result in the case that the condition is satisfied and an expectation output condition part storing a result to be expected about the input satisfying the condition of the input value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
