PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapse prevention Western umbrella with a wind path which is hard to break even in a strong wind. SOLUTION: A collapse prevention western umbrella with a wind duct consists of a top cloth hung from above the ribs of the umbrella, a side cloth which is a portion of the top cloth that hangs outward from the terminal portion of the ribs, and a hanging side cloth. The end of each rib serves as a support point, and it consists of a wind path formed by raising the inside of the umbrella along the rib and fastening it to the inside of the umbrella with zipper tapes 4 and 4'in a tense state.
