LIFTER FOR OVERRIDING STEP AND TRANSPORTATION APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME

To provide a lifter for overriding a step which is quite useful and facilitates handling of a transportation apparatus.SOLUTION: Couplers 50 are disposed in a lower part of a vehicle body 2 of a wheelchair 1 having front wheels 3 and rear wheels 4. A jack lever 10 is coupled to the couplers 50 so that the jack lever can rotate on a vertical plane. The jack lever 10 has a bent lateral shape. A grounding part 11 is set in the middle of the jack lever 10. Grounding wheels 20 are disposed at the grounding part. An ascending/descending handlebar 40 is disposed at a rear end of the jack lever 10. When the ascending/descending handlebar 40 of the jack lever 10 is depressed with the grounding wheels 20 grounded, the vehicle body 2 is lifted. The couplers 50 allow the jack lever 10 to be detachably attached to the vehicle body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
