To provide a waterproofed word learning machine in which words are added and extendable, in order to learn the words habitually and continuously by efficiently using a bathing time.SOLUTION: A word learning machine is a waterproofed machine like a digital clock. The machine is installed on a wall on its head side and operated by buttons, or is installed on a front surface of the wall and is switched by voice input. A word which a user wants to learn is selected by switching to a word mode with a mode switcher. If an answer is required, the answer is displayed once an "answer" button 2 is pressed. If next word is required to be learnt, a display is switched once "next" button 3 is pressed. If a word is completely memorized, the word is confirmed to have been memorized once an "OK" button (4) is pressed, and the word is no more displayed from next time. There are not only operations by the buttons but also methods switched by voice input such as "answer", "next" and "OK". Word data has already been installed in the machine, or can be added via a SD card and through the Internet, and therefore, the data is highly extendable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
