PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a negative electrode which is high in effect of inhibiting metal precipitation when used for a nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device; the nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device including the negative electrode; and a method for manufacturing the negative electrode.SOLUTION: A negative electrode 1 for a nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device comprises: a negative electrode base material 2; and a negative electrode active material layer 3 including a fibrous substance and being disposed on the negative electrode base material 2. The negative electrode active material layer 3 has a first region 4a and a second region 6a. The first region 4a is disposed between the second region 6a and the negative electrode base material 2. The mass content of the fibrous substance in the first region 4a is larger than the mass content of the fibrous substance in the second region 6a.
