PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional catalyst for exhaust gas purification large in palladium surface area, excellent in heat resistance and three-dimensional purification performance, easy to be manufactured and excellent in productivity and a manufacturing method therefor, and a catalyst converter for exhaust gas purification.SOLUTION: There is provided a three-dimensional catalyst for exhaust gas purification, under a reducing atmosphere, containing at least a base material particle of Nd dissolved zirconia-based composite oxide containing Nd and Zr of following mass percentages in terms of oxide as constitutional metal elements, and a Pd catalyst particle carried on the base material particle. The three-dimensional catalyst for exhaust gas purification preferably has palladium surface area calculated by a carbon monoxide gas pulse adsorption method of 15 to 30 (m/Pd_g).
