To provide compositions used for angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) inhibition, suppression of blood pressure elevation, or blood pressure decrease, and to provide methods for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a composition for ACE inhibition, suppression of blood pressure elevation, or blood pressure decrease, in which the content of one or more dipeptide compounds selected from arginyl glutamine, glutaminyl arginine, arginyl asparagine, asparaginyl arginine, and salts thereof is 0.10 mg/L or more. The composition for ACE inhibition, suppression of blood pressure elevation, or blood pressure decrease contains a water-soluble component derived from the Euglena cells in which lipid is removed and the dipeptide compound. The composition for ACE inhibition, suppression of blood pressure elevation, or blood pressure decrease contains Euglena cells grown in a medium having a glutamic acid content of 3.4 mmol/L or more and an ammonia nitrogen content of 13 mmol/L or more and dried, or a disrupted product thereof, or the water-soluble component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
