To provide a radiocommunication test device capable of performing MCS setting for test extremely simply, and capable of realizing communication quality measurement in protocol circumstance close to actual use time of a communication device.SOLUTION: Out of a radio base station and a radio terminal performing radiocommunication according to a communication protocol stack having multiple layers, a transmission side test unit is connected to the transmission side, and a reception side test unit is connected to the reception side. The transmission side test unit selects any one of a normal mode allowing execution of adaptive modulation coding control in a physical layer PHY, and a test mode for stopping the execution. When the test mode is selected, modulation coding information, including the type of frequency modulation system to be set in the physical layer and the coding rate, is acquired appropriately. A frequency modulation system and a coding rate, provided by that modulation coding information, are set fixedly for the physical layer from a host protocol layer, and transmission of a test packet from the host protocol layer to the transmission side device toward the reception side device is directed under that state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
