PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of more preferably collecting pieces of commodity information of commodities which are sold.SOLUTION: A commodity shelf recognition device comprises: first recognition means for recognizing a commodity based on an image, then recognizing a price of the commodity based on a peripheral area of the commodity image area; and second recognition means for based on feature information of the peripheral area of the image area of the first commodity whose price is recognized by the first recognition means, and feature information of the peripheral area of an image area of a second commodity included in the image, recognizing a price of the second commodity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
