PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing lower leaves of flowering plants, which is able to remove the lower leaves in a wider range than in the past.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, an apparatus for removing the lower leaves of a flowering plant 11 comprises: a plurality of rotation shafts 52, 52 arranged on positions different from one another from the base end to the tip end of the flowering plant 11 on a transport path and extending in the direction along which the flowering plant 11 is transferred; and a lower leaf removing unit 53 having a base end portion consisting of a plurality of linear bodies fixed to the respective rotation shafts 52.
