PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technology for introducing foreign mitochondria (exogenous mitochondria) genetically different from mitochondria (endogenous mitochondria), which are endogenous to cells, into the cells.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for introducing mitochondria into cells, the method comprising: a procedure of applying an alternating current electric field in which the alternating current electric field is applied to a mixture solution of GUV provided with a negative surface potential and cells to arrange the GUV and the cells; and a procedure of applying a pulsed direct current electric field in which the pulsed direct current electric field to the mixture solution to at least partially fuse the membrane of the GUV and the membrane of the cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
