Apparatus and methods for non-invasively measuring intracranial pressure in a subject using an ultrasound probe. The probe is used to measure movement of the intracranial portion of the subject's ophthalmic artery and the arterial wall of the extracranial portion when different external pressures are applied to the subject's orbital region. Intracranial pressure may be determined if the waveform of movement of the arterial wall between the intracranial part and the extracranial part is similar.
