The present invention relates to the use of mother liquor (A) in a process for producing fibers of a fiber fleece by so-called solution blow spinning. Water is used as the solvent for the mother liquor (A). At least one water-soluble polymer and preferably only one water-soluble polymer are dissolved in the water of the mother liquor (A). Furthermore, the mother liquor (A) comprises at least one surfactant and optionally a plasticizer, respectively, for at least one polymer used.
