PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for improving coupling of disposable pipette tips.;SOLUTION: A pipette device assembly 10 has a pipette device 20, a pipette tip 220, and an expanding mandrel collet coupling device coupling the pipette tip 220 to the pipette device 20. The coupling device has circumferentially spaced apart segments, an annular base arranged below the segments and has a distal part, an elastomeric element circumscribing the distal part, and upwardly extending circumferentially spaced apart arms which have first ends fitted to the annular base part and have upper free ends each supporting different one of the segments configured to expand between a first and a second greater circumference for engaging a first working surface of the pipette tip 220. The elastomeric element seals a second working surface below the first working surface, and contacts a disk arranged exteriorly around a medial part of the arms and a stepped interior shoulder arranged between the first and second working surfaces.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
