PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially carry transport objects with high priority in an arrival base by retaining supply balance of the transport objects.SOLUTION: The physical distribution system 1 according to the present invention includes: a departure base 10 of transport objects; an arrival base 11 of the transport objects; a transport route 20 including a first route 21 as a route for connecting the departure base 10 to the arrival base 11, and a second route 22 as a route reaching the arrival base 11; an intermediate base 12 capable of temporarily storing transport objects during transportation from the departure base 10 to the arrival base 11; and prediction means for predicting at least one of a state of the first route 21 and a state of the arrival base 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
