PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocardiogram analysis device capable of acquiring subject's breath information from electrocardiogram signal with high accuracy and a control method thereof.SOLUTION: An estimated signal of a second electrocardiogram signal out of a first electrocardiogram signal and the second electrocardiogram signal different in guiding direction is generated from the first electrocardiogram signal. The low frequency component of the difference signal between the second electrocardiogram signal and the estimated signal generated by estimation means is extracted as a signal relating to respiratory effort.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
