PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noble metal clay regenerant capable of regenerating a noble metal clay solidified article as a noble metal clay with moldable clay state without generating a viscous paste, and a regeneration method of noble metal clay.SOLUTION: A noble metal clay regenerant contains water and liquid paraffin at a ratio of an amount of the liquid paraffin in a range of 0.12 pt.mass to 60 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of water. A regeneration method of noble metal clay comprises a step of contacting water and liquid paraffin with a noble metal clay solidified article at the ratio with the amount of the liquid paraffin in a range of 0.12 pt.mass to 60 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
